We are preparing to host the 6th Pediatric Neuro-Developmental and Behavioural Conference.

The conference will offer didactic lectures led by representatives of Child Neurology, Developmental Pediatrics, Child Psychiatry and related specialties followed by case-based discussions in small multidisciplinary breakout sessions.

This event is also an Accredited Group Learning Activity as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society. This program has been approved for a maximum of 6 credit hours under Section 1 of the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. This program has been accredited by The College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 6 Mainpro-M1 credits.

By the end of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the challenges of caring for children with complex conditions and the relevance of interprofessional collaboration.
  • Explore the process of decision making in complicated cases.
  • Identify biological, psychosocial and socioeconomic factors affecting neuro-developmental conditions.
